Ladies Bras

The bra (also known as a brassiere) was invented around 200 years ago as a replacement for the corset. Up until that point, the corset was the accepted method of support for women's breasts. When the bra was invented, it was smaller, lighter, fit a lot better than a corset, and worked a lot better as well. From then on, bras became the new accepted form of breast support.

Bras don't only serve the purpose of supporting the breasts. Some bras actually change and improve the shape of your breasts, others will increase the cleavage in your breasts (known as wonder bras), while others are actually designed to make your breasts look smaller than they actually are.

Most bras come in many shapes and sizes to fit all women around the world. Standard bra sizes range from A to D, but for women with larger breasts, custom bras are available in bigger sizes such as E and higher. There are also different number sizes insidse each letter size, for example 46 CC or 38 A.
